3 Shows, 2 Days, Endless Fun; aka How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

Thought I would give you all a heads up of what you can expect of me in the coming days.  In sequential order.

1.) Battle for the Arts-
I will be competing in the infamous gauntlet Battle for the Arts against the mysterious Sir Robert Bruce.  I have been training fiercely and will either succeed or fail in a rain of marker paint and humiliation.  Should be fun.  It will be Thursday night at 9.00 pm at Club David.  If you don't feel like getting out, you can catch the KELO news story at 10.00  pm (or so I hear).

2.) The El Rae Show-
If Thursday night isn't enough Kiel M., wake up to my sweet voice Friday morning around 8.30 am by turning your radio dials to KCFS 94.5 (or stream here).  I'll be talking with the pulse of local music and art, Lucy Albers.  During this show I'll most likely be plugging...

3.) DrTSF "The Show"-
GC's downtown-based drawing group DrawnTown SF is getting a show all their own.  The public reception runs from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm at FP's Ipso Gallery.  The whole space will be transformed into a sketchbook and will feature art from some insanely talented artists.  Check Graphic Content all week for a countdown of work and posts. We're getting the space ready as we speak.
Here's a video of me preparing the biggest origami installation Sioux Falls has ever seen, edited and enhanced by Flowerman.

And if one show Friday isn't enough...

4.) Emerging Artist Showcase-
I'll once again be taking part in Rug & Relic's Emerging Artist Showcase.  The reception runs Friday night 5.00 pm - 9.00 pm.  I'll have a series of figure drawings, framed and unframed.  I plan to be at both the DrTSF and Showcase receptions simultaneously, so stay tuned for that.  Here's a spoiler filled view at what you can expect:

And finally...

5.) The Addy's-
This event is Saturday and will take no preparation from me, so I might have one too many G & T's (it is a (m)ad man party...)
